Emergencies

A special period is set aside daily for emergencies. This is to allow our patients to be seen on the same day. Please help us by phoning as early in the day as possible. Outside surgery hours, an answering machine will explain how to contact someone for advice in cases of extreme emergency.

What should I do in the event of an emergency?

Please call the practice as early as possible in the morning so that we can arrange to see you as soon as possible. Outside normal working hours, contact the on call Dentist via Teledent on 0795 6633221. There will be a call out fee of £90.00 plus up to £95.00 for any treatment received for using any of these services.

Any person may now also call the NHS 111 for help and advice. They will decide if you need to be seen and arrange an emergency NHS appointment.

Emergency advice

Whether you have broken a tooth, lost a filling or a crown has fallen out, simply call the practice on 01202 887700 and we will happily arrange a suitable time for you to come in to get it fixed.

If your crown or bridge has fallen out, please make sure you keep it somewhere safe until you come in to see us.

If your denture is broken, please bring it along the practice so we can send it off for a repair; you may not need to have new impressions taken, but one of our team will be able to determine this for you. Please do not try to repair a denture yourself.
